WORKSHOPS FOR GRADES K – 2

Puppets and Props

Children will meet once a week to create puppets based on characters from their favorite books!  Instructor Kelly Oginsky will introduce students to stage props, and how actors use them.  At the end of 6 weeks, your student will have their work on display for families to enjoy.  They will also have the opportunity to explain puppetry and storytelling or how a prop they made might be used in a show.

Date: Monday’s – January 7 – February 11
Time: 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Where: Lebowsky Center
Class Fee: $60*

Tiny Dancers

Watch as your child learns the basics of coordination and creating stories from familiar fairy tales.  Students will work with dance professional Erica Duffield as she ignites the creative passion that your student will take with them far beyond the class.  The final session will be a performance for parents, friends, and community.
